Mr. Metcalf is co-founder of the Mid-Atlantic Disability Advocates
Consortium. He grew up in the Washington, DC greater metropolitan
area, where he attended the University of Maryland and Georgetown
University.
After serving in the United States Air Force, Mr. Metcalf returned
to the Washington, DC area where he established a court reporting
business serving various federal administrative law venues throughout
the mid-Atlantic region before turning his focus primarily to
the service of state administrative venues throughout the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania.
For over ten years Mr. Metcalf has maintained a practice limited
to Social Security representation where he finds immense satisfaction
assisting claimants navigate the murky waters of the Social Security
Administration. Mr. Metcalf believes that he is successful in
his field because he takes the time to get to know his clients
and their unique circumstances, thereby allowing him to competently,
diligently and faithfully advocate on their behalf. Mr. Metcalf
takes particular pride in knowing that he helps deserving claimants
receive the benefits to which they are entitled.
In 2006 Mr. Metcalf received an honorarium in recognition of
and appreciation for “outstanding true and faithful service”
which cited his “high standard of professional ethic and
conduct, quality of work and attention to detail”.
Mr. Metcalf resides in central Pennsylvania with his wife, Melissa,
and son, Christian. Mr. Metcalf is a member of the Chamber of
Commerce, an active member of his church and regularly attends
Social Security continuing legal education courses and seminars.
